Switch Editor has been developped in 2008 by NetDream, restarted in 2012 by Anything Digital. Anything Digital discontinued switch editor support. This version is Joomla 3.10 and Joomla 4.0 compatible.

Important : if you are working with Anything Digital's version (version 1.0.1.3) and planning to go Joomla 4.0, first load Switch Editor version 2.x in your 3.10 Joomla before going to Joomla 4.0.
Switch Editor is an administration module.
This module is to be in status position.
With Joomla 3.x, status position is at the bottom of the screen when, with Joomla 4.x, it's at the top.
There's just one parameter : compact view or not.
